Director of Magnolia Retail Properties

Charles Warner is Director of Magnolia Retail Properties.  Charles is responsible for leading Magnolia’s retail platform focusing on acquisitions, dispositions, redevelopment, leasing, and asset management.

Charles has over 20 years of retail real estate experience and has received various accolades throughout his career including the Nashville Business Journal’s CRE MVP for Retail Properties and Costar’s “Power Broker”.

Prior to Magnolia, Charles was Senior Vice President of Commercial Leasing at Nashville based Southern Land Company (SLC).  At SLC, he directed all the leasing and management strategies nationally for existing and new developments with a focus on mixed use assets incorporating carefully merchandised and designed spaces to maximize investor returns and resident/tenant experiences.

Charles has been an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) throughout his career serving on various panels and publications.  In addition, Charles serves on the Board for the Alliance for Green Hills and the Alumni Board for Montgomery Bell Academy.

Charles is a graduate of the University of Richmond (VA) with a degree in Business Administration -Finance Concentration and Montgomery Bell Academy.  Charles and his wife, Ali, have three children and are active members at Westminster Presbyterian Church.
