Brian Reames

Co-Manager of the Fund

Brian joins Magnolia as a Co-founder of the newly formed Strategic Opportunity Fund. He has spent his entire career in commercial real estate, first in finance with the Hunter Company and the last 30 years in the development, leasing, management and investment sales of office properties. As a partner at Eakin & Smith, Brian initiated and co-lead an effort to acquire distressed office properties with investors which ultimately led to a 1996 merger with Highwoods Properties, a NYSE REIT. Brian spent 26 years at Highwoods leading the Nashville office and with regional responsibility for the Charlotte, Memphis, Greenville, and Columbia, SC markets. Brian is a graduate of Vanderbilt University
